🎶 The Sound of Summer Returns to Payson Park 🎶

Call for Artists Now Open!

Get ready, Portland—The Friends of Payson Park Summer Concert Series is back for 2025, and we’re officially accepting artist submissions!

With huge thanks to Kennebec Savings Bank, who makes this series possible through their generous sponsorship, we’re thrilled to offer another season of free, family-friendly outdoor concerts in the heart of the park. Their support helps us bring music, joy, and community connection to this beautiful green space—and we couldn’t do it without them.

🎤 Call for Musicians

We’re seeking 4 musical acts to each perform on one of these confirmed concert dates:

📅 Second Tuesday of the month:

• June 10

• July 8

• August 12

• September 9

Rain dates 3rd Tuesday of the month

Concerts take place in the triangle area of Payson Park, a lovely flat lawn with power access—and a built-in audience of enthusiastic neighbors.

🎶 What We’re Looking For:

• Family-friendly music (any genre welcome!)

• 1–2 hour performance

• No staging provided (if you bring one, max size: 10x10 ft)

• Sound provided by our friends at Sun Tiki Studios—so no need to bring your own sound system or engineer (unless you have specific requirements)

💸 Compensation:

Please include your standard fee and a breakdown if possible.

📬 Submissions Open — Rolling Basis

Submissions are now open and accepted on a rolling basis. The earlier you apply, the better your chances of being selected. Artists will be notified as soon as possible.
